Swamp death black metal, from the USA, heavily influenced by the Scandinavian old school, as their Myrdød portmanteu implies, spiked with a modern psychedelic blurring of the cosmic, mystic, and visceral with the aim of channelling disparate influences such as Abyssal, Ævangelist, Teitanblood, and Void Meditation Cult.

Recorded in a log cabin in the Pennsylvania woods, this is imbued with naturalistic energies, and a singularity of focus that those band references represent. Expect things to get dark, heavy, claustrophobic, and catastrophically noisy, the deeper into the album you progress.
